To whom it may concern:

I am looking for resources on or examples of public horticulture projects
engaged in phytoremediation or training people in phytoremediation techniques.
My interest stems from trying to understand how public horticulture
institutions, programs, and projects can promote environmental justice and
equity. The use of phytoremediation to ameliorate toxics or training members
of communities impacted by toxics seems like a concrete way to achieve this.
If you have any ideas for information gathering or projects I might look to as
models anywhere in the world I would most appreciate your assistance.

Feel free to reply directly to me at emaxwell at umich.edu.

Thank you!

Emily
