[Phytonet] International Master Course at the University of Parma

Dear Colleagues,

We are currently seeking applicants for admission to the International 
University Master Course on Science and technology for sustainable 
development in contaminated sites, at the University of Parma in Italy 
in cooperation with the Zhitomir State Technological University, 
Ukraine, and the University of Applied Sciences of Mittweida, Germany.

SUBSCRIPTIONS HAVE BEEN OPENED AGAIN UNTIL April 27, 2005

The International University Master Course lasts one year, and it will 
start immediately after selection.  
The project has been organised in order to fulfil the request of 
professionals in a field which is multidisciplinary and transnational. 
Since 2002 international students with various academic backgrounds and 
nationalities have subscribed to this course, which aims to providing 
students with the competence needed for:
Elaboration of monitoring projects of the effects
exerted by pollutants and contaminants
Elaboration of projects for recovery and remediation
of sites contaminated by polluting and contaminating substances
Promotion of utilisation of technologies with low
environmental impact adapted to specific fields of activity
Promotion of the utilisation of environment-friendly
technologies for waste disposal and residues
Recognition of the conditions in landscape and environment
in order to address the interventions on the territory.
