[Phytonet] background values

Dear friends,

Could anyone tell me the background values for Pb, Cu,
Cd and Zn. I ahve found the the value of Zn mentioned
less then 100ppm(Bryan and langstan, 1992) and for Cd
less then 1.00ppm(Sadiq 1992). Should I consider them
1.00 andd 100.00 because I have to put them in the
formula for calculating Pollution Load Index?
